Drift

Hi all! My internet has been a bit tetchy so i'm trying to submit some stuff at dialup speed but the holidays have started now and i decided to be a little bit productive and i made two paintings during the weekend.
Admitadly, i hardly ever paint but ive been trying to paint more regularily and i do enjoy it but i have to be honest, this was actually supposed to be a flower garden but i skrewed up the sky. That's right folks, i skrewed up a gradient, literally one of the easiest techniques to learn. But in my desperation i decided to just wing it and i took a picture from the sky magazine, off an ad for Gravity, so yes, i dont own the picture of the astronaunt. But overall i am happy with how it turned out, as a happy accident. I also used indian ink/ india ink for the first time and i really like it (I used it in the other painting as well, but there is one thing i would like to change before i upload it)

acrylic paint
pva glue
irridesent medium
india ink 

it is painted on a random scrap of light wieght cardboard i found and tbh i liked painting on it much more than on canvas
